Lost Lures is a stylized fishing game inspired by how fishing actually works. The game is built around observation, learning, and decision-making rather than reflexes or constant action. Weather conditions and time of day matter, and success comes from understanding how fish behave, not from quick reactions.
Learning fish behavior is central to success. Different species behave in different ways, respond to different lures, and live in various types of spots, much like they do in real fishing. Players are expected to read conditions, adjust their approach, and accept that sometimes patience is the most important skill.
The project is still in its early stages of development. Development is being kept open from the start, with playable builds already available through early playtesting. Player feedback is actively used to shape mechanics and systems while they are still flexible.
