“Playtest was on during Gamescom, got to the booth and played it at home. It’s quite a fun survivor-like, mostly I’m not fan of the genre as a ton are copies, but this one had some unique mechanics!”

I’m giving Arms of God a 4/5!

If you ever wanted to play a Bullet Hell as an Adeptus Mechanicus, this is your chance, with the Early Access release there now is; Arms of God.

While of course the game is fully not related to Warhammer 40K or DOOM, it gives us the same Templar righteous hero, that has to destroy demons and restore his order.

The 4/5 score is as we know it’s an Early Access game and things will improve, there were very minor nitpick things that I noticed while playing, or in the start cut scenes itself where the weapons would glitch through the cross itself, but rest assured if this is Early Access, the Full game is going to be amazing, so make sure to pick it up (for another 10 days in launch discount of 15%) over at Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3100310/Arms_of_God/

The game gives you 10 characters to get into by completing acts, and certain acts have different difficulties.

You can jump straight in and beat the first crusade easily if you played this genre before. Which is good, you get to see the whole run, you get to upgrade stuff at the end and prepare for the Nightmare mode.

There are different damage types, tons of different weapons and buffs, this makes for a different run every time and has you refreshing and rerolling to get the same weapon again to merge them together. This is an amazing feature and at some point I was walking around with a Holy Gatling gun just blasting demons!
