Sol Mates is joining the Steam Next Fest with an update to their demo!
As the Sol Mates odd jobs agency, up to 4 players will crew their spaceship through the perils of space to fulfill the desires of their kooky clients. Blast, steer and shield your way through waves of enemies, buy upgrades for your ship, and vote together on decisions both life-defining and super trivial.
The update brings a second mission, more playable characters, each with their own unique abilities, and a whole host of new enemies, events and challenges for players to face.
After completing the first mission, when you return, the second one unlocks giving you another journey to go on with your Sol Mates.
Unlock new gear, new species and battle new enemies and bosses, it’s good for another couple of hours fun, especially if you juice it up!
Sol Mates Couch Co-Op is like experiencing Overcooked meets FTL, chaotic, but super fun if you manage to get through it with your friends.
- Customize: Pick your color! Pick your hat! Pick your species(!?)
- Upgrade: Shop on your journey; bigger shields, freezing ammo, tractor beams, oh my!
- Vote: For decisions big and small, consult your crewmates and choose your adventure!
- Juice: For veterans, juice up the challenge with additional difficulty to unlock more swag!
- Couch co-op: Play with up to 4 Sol Mates!
