“Get into the fight with your own animated movesets and a plethora to use against others either local & multiplayer online, or against AI in singleplayer mode. The game never seems to bore with the community tournaments, mods and more!”

Gladio Mori is solo developed by Plebeian Studio and published by Bonus stage Publishing.
Gladio Mori is a physics-driven multiplayer gladiator combat game featuring slow-motion battles, organ-specific damage, and a fully customizable move editor. Craft your own fighting style or use community created movesets to fight your way to glory.
If you are someone that really likes their freedom in games, this is a game for you. By being able to create your own movesets, you are able to adjust to any combat situation that the game throws at you, in either singleplayer mode against AI or in the online multiplayer mode where you can battle up to 16 people with community added mods.
Gladio Mori has released in Early Access on the 26th of November and is planning to stay in EA for about a year. The game has all it’s core features and will be gradually releasing more content.
Even though you can play the game perfectly fine without the moveset editor or try out the community movesets available (You can also download other people their movesets in the Discord!), you need to try the moveset editor once.
The game gives you full advantage over the movement of your character, the character doesn’t have feet, but if they would, I’d reckon you could move your small toe.
With this you can move stances, bind action keys to special attacks and WAY more, I have yet to do a deep dive into the moveset creator, but even if you are a newbie like me, you can find one of the many tutorials and moveset creators in the Discord that are happy to help you out. Next to that the game does give you help dialogue when interacting with the editor.
The game isn’t all that serious however. You can also live out your most chaotic dreams.
Where the moveset editor can help you out with an advantage, so can armor, or some of the meme swords like the one from BERSERK.
The game launched in Early Access with 6 community made mods and there are a ton of tournaments focusing on 1v1s, moveset ‘fashion shows’. It’s a great community game overall, where that freedom part keeps coming back. You are also able to switch out the standard look with your own or other people their made skins.
The mods are currently done via 3rd party applications such as the Thunderstore, but are very easy to install to even someone who have never touched mods before. With this you can currently host bigger servers, get more additional weapons, resize your weapons and even get accessories like new hair and hats!
Another cool thing is that the game is very physics gameplay focused on features like internal organs and bleeding, if you are able to for example cut an artery, someone can bleed out. Same goes for kidney damage and much more.
- Gladio Mori currently is out for 16$ in Early Access
- The game has just started Early Access and reckons will be in early Access for a year
- We gave a positive curation to the game on Steam
- The game will most likely have achievements at full launch
For Accessibility Options, the game currently has VSync. You are able to turn down the blood decal amount, but not fully turn down blood as it’s part of an important feature mechanic. The game plays in 3 control options, either full keyboard, keyboard + mouse or gamepad, where you are able to rebind all of the keys. There also are a lot of custom option to hide the chat & custom textures in multiplayer and of course there is a option to ban people from your lobbies.
