What we collect

We don’t have user accounts, logins, or comment forms that store your details. There’s nothing to sign up for on this site. The only data collected happens automatically in the background through standard site analytics and ad measurement tools, and it’s aggregated, not tied to an individual profile we can look up.

• Jetpack Stats (built into our WordPress.com hosting) reports aggregate visitor numbers: approximate country, pages viewed, and referring site.
• Google Analytics reports similar aggregate data: approximate location, device/browser type, and how people navigate the site.
• Google Ads conversion tracking runs on our homepage only. It tells us whether someone who clicked one of our ads later visited the site. It does not build a personal profile of who you are.

Cookies

Jetpack, Google Analytics, and Google Ads each set a small cookie in your browser to make the reporting above possible. We don’t use cookies for anything beyond this, and we don’t run our own advertising or retargeting network. You can see and control what Google collects across sites via Google’s My Activity and Google Ads Settings, or block cookies entirely in your browser settings.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell, rent, or share visitor data with anyone.
• We don’t collect names, emails, or contact details unless you email us directly yourself.
• We don’t build individual visitor profiles or track you across other websites.

Your rights

If you’re in the EU or UK, you have rights under GDPR relating to any personal data processed about you, including the right to ask what’s held and to request its deletion. Because our own records are aggregate, country-level statistics rather than identifiable profiles, there’s generally nothing individual on our end to look up. For data Google itself processes as part of Analytics or Ads, their own privacy tools linked above are the fastest way to view or delete it.
