There is not a lot to tell about the story, as many Star Wars fans have picked the game up and are saying good things about it. If you haven’t seen the Star Wars films, we would highly recommend you to get Disney+ and do a big marathon solo or with your loved one(s).

The game focuses on all the movies, which are split up into 9 Episodes. The episodes follow the story almost to the letter, except for Tt Games’ brilliant writing which includes a lot of jokes, fan fiction (Yes there is a Finnpoe love mention on the start screen), and a story that can be played by everyone Rating 12+.

It was very refreshing to play through the story, and finish after some 40-45 hours, clenching that Star Wars thirst I had since the last Star Wars game that was released.

Next to the story, you will be able to battle one or multiple bosses that have big fight scenes in the movies, you will be able to battle everyone from Darth Maul to Emperor Palpatine, to Phasma and unlock them eventually as playable characters.

Next to the cutscenes that include a lot of easter eggs, jokes, and more, you can also find a lot of these within the missions, for example, you can see two stormtroopers having fun in the lake in the next screenshot. One of a lot of funny random encounters.

When you finish the story, you however haven’t finished the game. There are a total of 24 planets that you can explore which are displayed on the galaxy map.

You can unlock True Jedi status by collecting enough studs in every level, which grant you mini kits that you can also find while exploring (Mini kits are put together to make a mini model of some space ships that you can command).
You can unlock 380 standard characters and unlock even more by buying the new DLCs.

And last but not least, they added big space battles where you can take over Capital ships such as the Death Star, the Executor, and the Steadfast.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga also added in the ability to upgrade your classes (Classes being Jedi, Sith, scavenger, etc.) and overall upgrades which for example allow you to attract studs from a greater distance or add more health, which is very helpful in the early game.

The game has focused a lot on adding accessibility within the settings, the accessibility settings even have their own menu next to the settings menu.

When going to the accessibility menu, you will find the following submenus that will allow you to customize the game to your needs. Starting off with the submenu Subtitles, followed by controls, camera, aiming, flight, gameplay assistance, and Screen effects. These submenus all contain a number of settings you can change, which will be really helpful.

The game offers a couple of achievements, 45 total at the moment that rank from easily achievable by following the story and finishing it, to harder achievable where you will have to complete multiple events on multiple planets to unlock them.
